AMCO 3.5cc BB model diesel engine

The AMCO 3.5cc BB model diesel engine is a classic piece of model engineering history. Designed by Ted Martin for Anchor Motors in England, it features a twin ball-raced crankshaft with rear rotary disc induction, making it powerful and smooth-running. It was a significant success upon its release and is still sought after by collectors today. This engine is circa 1951/2 from the Chester Works with serial number 1043 on underside of lug. It’s in fine condition throughout with good anodising and a clean case.
